Meet the SailTime Australia Team at Sail Expo 2026
SailTime Australia is exhibiting at Sail Expo 2026, held at the Royal Prince Alfred Yacht Club in Newport on Saturday 17 and Sunday 18 October, 10am to 4pm both days. Come and step aboard Horizon Three, a Beneteau Oceanis 38.1 from our Middle Harbour base, and talk to the team about how a sailing membership works. Entry and parking are free, with a complimentary tender running from nearby Pittwater wharves.
What is Sail Expo 2026?
Sail Expo is Australia's largest dedicated sailing show, returning to RPAYC Newport for its second year running. More than 30 sailing yachts will be on the water and on the hardstand across the weekend, alongside brokers, riggers, sailmakers and marine industry exhibitors of every kind. It is a free, family-friendly weekend, whether you race, cruise, or have never set foot on a yacht.
For SailTime Australia, Sail Expo is close to home. Newport is where Graham Raspass launched our very first base back in 2009, and RPAYC is the club our Pittwater base calls home today.
Come aboard Horizon 3, our Beneteau Oceanis 38.1
Our Middle Harbour team is bringing Horizon 3 down to the marina for the weekend, a Beneteau Oceanis 38.1 and one of the yachts our Middle Harbour members sail regularly. If you have ever wondered what a SailTime yacht is actually like on board, this is the easiest way to find out. Walk the deck, sit in the cockpit, chat with Graham and Angela about how you can get out on the water for summer.
Why visit if you are thinking about sailing membership
Sail Expo is a good place to ask questions in person, especially if sailing has always felt slightly out of reach. Graham did not learn to sail himself until he was 48, which is exactly why he built SailTime Australia the way he did: no boat to buy, no equity, no syndicate, just a monthly membership and a two-day induction to get you started.
"Sail Expo is one of my favourite weekends of the year," says Graham Raspass, Founder and Chief Sailing Officer of SailTime Australia. "Newport is where we started in 2009, so bringing a boat back to Sail Expo always feels a bit like coming home. If you've ever wondered whether a sailing membership is for you, come and find us on the marina for a chat."
Whether you’re someone who’s always dreamed about sailing, someone getting back into it after years away, or just weighing up your options, the SailTime team can talk you through pricing, availability and what a typical month on the water looks like.
